    The cougar (Puma or Felis concolor) was considered absent or extinct from Uruguay. It seems to come back from neighbouring Brazil.
    For this coin were used the designs from gold from 1830, KM# 27 on obverse, and from $ 0.10 1830. KM# 25, both modified to fit the details of this coin.
